Make sure to shower, shave, and exfoliate before your appointment. Spend a little extra time on knees, elbows, feet, and hands. DO NOT moisturize your skin at all!
Fresh, clean skin is necessary for optimal results! Remove all jewelry, contacts, and make up. Do not wear deodorant, perfume, or cologne. Pull hair back and if necessary, put on the shower cap we provide. Put on lip balm or chap stick to protect your lips.
Do not wear wool, nylon, or silk during or after your sunless application for up to eight hours. We suggest loose, dark clothing such as a sweat suit and Flip-Flops.
Please wear a bathing suit or underwear that you can keep just for spray tanning sessions. Women can go topless if they choose.
After your sunless application, wait at least six hours before you shower or exercise. You cannot get wet either for at least six hours.
Do NOT exfoliate, shave, or wax for at least 24 hours after your sunless application.
Do not worry if you see color washing off from your first shower ~ what you will see washing off is the immediate cosmetic bronzer.
Do not use an oily body scrub/wash that will leave an oily residue on your skin!
Do not use any acne products including retinoids the day before/after your spray tan appointment
Do not use deodorant soap or antibacterial soap after your spray tan appointment.
Moisturize at least two times a day after getting sprayed! Our “Suddenly Sun Extender” is a great moisturizer that will keep your skin soft and healthy-looking! It also contains a DHA bronzer to extend your color.
You can fill in tan lines and touch-up results with our Sunless Self Tanner Spray, Foam, Lotion, or Bronzing Powder. They match the colors that look natural.
